This top layer is then tanned, buffed, sanded, and dyed to create the signature velvety texture that defines high-quality suede. Love Devan! Probably my favorite ever PLG bag. I was on the fence because of the open top, but it’s just deep enough to feel secure, perfect size, not large and not tiny, similar in size to the small drawstring bucket or the mini crossbody but deeper. It’s super light to carry and the long handles are so comfortable. I love the simplicity and effortless cool look of this bag. Chestnut is beautiful, like a warmer honey. Perfection.

Now hear me out... I never thought I'd be a Devan girlie, until it came out in Madrone. Madrone is my PLG purse peace color, so I had to give this one a shot. I am now a Devan girlie 😂. There is some wonky stitching around the bottom (similar to the wonkiness around some of their circle crossbodies) but I try not to focus on it. Otherwise, it's beautiful 😍

Large Devan Bucket Tote Koi

What a FABULOUS bag. I had a OG Devan and loved it but I can always use something a little bigger and this is so perfect. I purchased Koi because I don't have a bag in this color and was thrilled with it. Soft, so smushy, and it smells like luscious leather. It's not a bright orange, nor of a burnt orange. It's a pebbled girl's dream!! The snap closure, the soft straps, and the fact that it's so lightweight makes this a go to bag for me. I'll definitely get this in more colors.

I used my new OS Devan in Black as my personal item when flying last week. Structured and not overly slouchy. Spacious enough to carry everything I needed including a 40 oz travel water bottle. Straps are comfy even if the bag is heavy. No complaints. My new fave PLG!
I ordered the oversize for travel in the Orchid and one in Joni Blue. I received them over a week ago and still not sure on them. Maybe I need to go one size down. I will leave them out to look at while I decide whether I love them or not and decide how they will work for me. I think for me it is the bottom part, of how narrow it is, and how are things going to fit. I gave it a 5 star because of how well they are put together. Plus, both colors are gorgeous.
I already owned a large and wanted to try the OS. I ordered mine in Nutmeg and absolutely love it!!! The chonky leather looks and feels great! The tote holds quite a lot while still looking classy. The straps are so comfortable, even with a heavy load!
As a true lover of the PLG leather tote (got my first one back in 2019 on Esty) I was scared to try the Devan not sure how it would match up. This oversized Devan, in Orchid, is a amazing, I am so glad they came out with the larger size and that I went with a color-like Orchid, which is so beautiful.
This bucket bag is beautiful and just the right size. I bought it in orchid. I love the color.
