Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Just received my Lagoon mini crossbody. The leather has a lot of variations, on one side of the front pocket it is completely smooth. First I didn't like it, but now the more I look at it, I totally fell in love with it. It has a lot of pull-up, and so much character. I would probably only buy Almost Perfect, as these bags are so unique! Lagoon is my favorite leather, so squishy!

All The Little Stuff

For this order I purchased an AP Grizzly Utility. I love these and I've got one to match most of my Mini CBs. I do wish more Unicorn colors were available or more included in Mystery boxes. Seems to be 4 to 1 Eclipse to Utilities. I've only received a couple in 11 or 12 Mystery Boxes. IMO, Utilities are 10 times better than Eclipses!

This is my first deep water purchase. I usually am a neutral leather person, but I just love this blue! I'm still trying to decide what exactly I will be using this little pouch for, but as a teacher with school starting soon, there will be a usage! Grizzly is hard to capture in pictures but it's gorgeous. Also love that the interior is a lighter color, makes it easier to find what I need. The utility is perfect for all my accessories for class. My giant graphing calculator fits with a ton of extra space .

The Utility Bag is quite possibly my favorite of the PLG littles right now! An unassuming, versatile, pretty little workhorse! Pictured here in Peacock (teal-green) and Tulip (coral-pink), both of which show very little wear with normal use. The Peacock has carried my makeup in my everyday work tote for quite a while now, but you'd never know it. She looks new as the day she arrived. I expect Tulip will wear similarly, as they are both smooth and structured leather. Sometimes it's hard to know what size little bag you need for inside a bigger bag. The utility is a perfect starter because you can start to discern if you want something larger or smaller pretty easily, and even if you settle on another size being your main jam, you've got this little gem to protect whatever little treasures you choose.

I love the size and functionality of my AP Utility bag. It has a neat hide mark (isn't it cool how unique leather is?!) and the Caribbean color is stunning! The zipper is a touch stiff but I've already noticed it getting looser with each use so that's good.
