Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Just received my Lagoon mini crossbody. The leather has a lot of variations, on one side of the front pocket it is completely smooth. First I didn't like it, but now the more I look at it, I totally fell in love with it. It has a lot of pull-up, and so much character. I would probably only buy Almost Perfect, as these bags are so unique! Lagoon is my favorite leather, so squishy!

Gorgeous color, perfect size and the leather is soft. I love having a zipper to close the bag. Even adding a tab inside at the end of the zipper to help you close it is a clever detail so if the zipper is opened all the way; just pull the tab down while zipping the bag and it zips smoothly.
I’m a shoulder bag person and this bag is love for me and the slouch is just chef’s kiss. Very comfortable to carry even with a lot of stuff in the bag. This bag made me love all the pebbles! I purchased an AP large slouchy in nutmeg. And the smell….amazing!

Several months back in preparation for St. Patrick's Day, I purchased my first PLG! It was the Slouchy in Bacalar - the most emerald green I've ever seen! I loved the size, weight and most importantly, how soft the leather is. So many purses (another famous brand that begins with a "B") are leather yet rock hard, heavy and have no give. Being so pleased with my Slouchy, I purchased a second one in Coldbrew for my Mom. She too loves it and now we're on the hunt for several small make-up/lipstick bags that can tuck inside them. Can't wait for the C-Sale and glad to be an Insider! 🥰
The Large Slouchy bag is perfect! I love the color Lagoon and this style is new to me. This is the best every day bag from PLG (in my opinion). Easy to carry, with generous room. I do not miss a pocket and the zipper is well made and operates smoothly. If I could change anything, it would be make the strap longer, to give more variations in length. I would love to see Sugar Snap in this style! Love the Lagoon large slouchy!
