Our Full-Grain Leather
Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Just received my Lagoon mini crossbody. The leather has a lot of variations, on one side of the front pocket it is completely smooth. First I didn't like it, but now the more I look at it, I totally fell in love with it. It has a lot of pull-up, and so much character. I would probably only buy Almost Perfect, as these bags are so unique! Lagoon is my favorite leather, so squishy!

My first Butterfly, not my last

When I saw the Meadow release, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to try the Butterfly Bucket Bag. I am usually a medium crossbody gal, but I think the Butterfly is just as roomy and I love the two inside pockets on the sides. Meadow is stunning, so as I was traveling recently I stopped at an overlook in the Blue Ridge Mountains to take a photo of her with a gorgeous backdrop. The quality and variety of PLG keeps me coming back! Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for us next.

I ordered the AP butterfly in nutmeg. As my first PLG order I had scoured the site and reviews for about 2 weeks prior to deciding. I'm so glad I went with the butterfly! The leather is soft and smells amazing, and holds its shape nicely. This bag can be casual or dressy. I love it!
Gorgeous green Anjou

I ordered the butterfly bag in Anjou. The AP bag I received felt a little dry to me, but perhaps that is the nature of this particular leather. I made the decision to condition the bag with Bick 4 and am so glad I did. The color is still gorgeous and the bag feels so nice. I found a wider strap that I think complements the bag and can't wait to carry it this spring.

I was worried because the last AP item I purchased was abysmal, but this cold brew butterfly bag is absolutely beautiful! It did have a very strong smell(a mix of leather and chemicals), but I’m not overly sensitive so it doesn’t bother me. It is the perfect size for my everyday stuff and isn’t bulky but still roomy.

Sedona leather on this butterfly bucket is very soft & the pebbles are almost smooth but still can see the pebbles, which I like very much! The color is orangy brown, love this color, happy color. Picture with mini bucket cold brew & my 5-year old son! 😂

I never really took notice of this bag because I thought it looked huge and being petite, I didn’t want it to overwhelm my frame, but it is a lot smaller than I thought, yet bigger than the mini, which is great when I have to carry an extra book with my regular carry. Love it in the pebbled black. I’ve worn it crossbody and have doubled the strap to shoulder carry as well!

Fell in love with this Butterfly bucket bag! I bouhht it in Naples, never thought I would own a yellow purse! Leather is soft and size is good.
I am a larger lady and tall so the strap is too short and they don't make the extension strap in naples. Now I want a few more Butterfly bags!
I was so surprised that this bag was not Almost Perfect.....it was perfect! Just the right size for my needs. Large enough but not too big. Love, love, love it!

The butterfly bag is really cute! I got this in lagoon and really happy with the leather and color.
I love my butterfly bag in plumb! This bag holds everything I need at work plus my headphones. I enjoy getting out of my car with one bag and my tumbler. I have extra room even with my two taco bags, pencil bag and headphones in it.
I am restricting myself to one butterfly bag….. for now.
